I’m Tash South, a London-based writer, designer and creative director exploring the relationship between home, identity and belonging. Born in Cape Town, I began my career in graphic design before moving into interiors, renovating numerous homes, and building one from the ground up.

Today, my work moves between writing, design, teaching and conversation. I’m the founder of South Place Studio and RenoVersity, and host of the How To Renovate podcast.
Across everything I do, I’m interested in how the places we make hold our memories, reflect our histories and help us feel more fully ourselves.
